CO-CURRICULAR ACTIVITIES
Co-curricular activity plays an important role in the
overall development of the personality of the students during their formative years. It
gives a common platform to the students through which they can nurture their hidden
talents.
In order to ensure maximum participation and inculcate a spirit of healthy competition,
the students are divided into four houses viz. Raman, Subhas, Tagore and Lachit. All the
competitions are inter-house competitions.
The abovementioned activities along with some additional items are being carried out in
the current academic session. In order to provide a broader platform to all children to
exhibit their talents in public address skills, the Morning Assembly is also conducted
house wise.
Vidyalya Organise :
Co-curricular Activities separately for the Primary, and Middle and Secondary Classes
regularly as per the class time table. Weekly 2 periods are allotted to Class I to XII for
academic and cultural base CCA activities and prizes along with certificates are
distributed in Annual Day by the Chief Guest/ VIPs
Games & Sports :
School level House wise Games and Sports are organized every year separately for Primary,
Middle and Secondary Classes.
Every year fair numbers of participants of Games and sports participate in Regional and
KVS National Level Meet. Vidyalaya ensure total responsibilities for secure and safety of
the out station students of Games and Sports, Social Science Exhibition and Science
Exhibition of different level organized in different venue KV.
Social Science Exhibition and Jawaharlal Nehru
Science Exhibition :
Vidyalaya organized social and Science base exhibition in school level every year
as per the guidance of KVS. The selected exhibits are sent to Regional and National level
as per schedule prescribed by the KVS.
Medical Check Up :
Every year the programme of medical check of students from the eminent doctors are under
taken by the Vidyalaya at the Vidyalaya premesis.
School Fair :
Vidyalay organize Book fair and Market fair every year as per the suitability of time and
other factors.
School Excursion and Picnic :
School undertake scheduled panning of School Excursion and Picnic during the each academic
session. This year excursion and picnic has been undertaken in three phases from
30th Oct to 3rd Nov. The primary classes from III to V and VI to VII visited Nampkake
Village where they observed Buddhist Temple and River basis of Natural Environment.
183 students from Class IX to XII visited to ancient Ahom kindom historical pace Sibsagar,
about 100KM form Namrup. The picnic was organized at the spot.
Annual Cultural Day and Annual Sports Day :
Every year school celebrate School Annual Cultural and Sports Day to
provide totality of personality growth of the children in school days. The Cultural
function will be organized in the proper guidance from the Principal and the Teachers with
the active cooperation from Parents.
Adolescent Programme :
Activities are under taken by the trained teachers of the Vidyalaya for the adolescent.
Eminent Doctors / personality are invited to meet the problems of student quarries.
